RAFIK, DJ and Producer 6x DJ World Champ, AFEW a well known Düsseldorf sneaker retailer since 2008 and 24KILATES the streetwear pioneer based in Barcelona and Bangkok, started THE CRANE NETWORK two years ago, a project that put the first seed with an epic party in Barcelona.
The French sportswear brand LE COQ SPORTIF with its Made in France guaranteed quality teams up for this project inspired by the CRANE, a migrational bird that flies from north to south connecting cities and cultures.
This 4-way project is a symbol of friendship and a link between music and streetwear, DÜSSELDORF, PARIS, BARCELONA and BANGKOK are our hometowns, four visions together to develop this concept.
The R800 silhouette is the collab key product, very limited pairs, premium materials as nubuck, different types of suede, perforated grain leather, engraved branding on heels and rubber logo applications on tongue and lace-keepers. The color palette is based on grays, black and spotted colors as turquoise, sand and red shades topping a white bottom unit with printed details.
The project continues with a DJ Travel Bag specially brought by Pinqponq Brand, strictly produced for friends and family.
A commemorative t-shirt with bold graphic applications rounds up the product proposal.
As a first step on the Crane Network project, Rafik visited Bangkok last May, 24KILATES team hosted an untypical Bangkok lifestyle tour, a curated spot selection through food, music and street culture.
A special workshop at Kreatah DJ School or a party at Penta Club, one of the best hip-hop clubs in Bangkok, amongst other experiences are recorded on a short film to share this lifestyle.

จากปาร์ตี้สุดเหวี่ยงเมื่อ 2 ปีก่อนที่บาร์เซโลน่าคือจุดเริ่มต้นของ ‘THE CRANE NETWORK’ การร่วมงานระหว่าง RAFIK แชมป์โลกดีเจ 6 สมัย และโปรดิวเซอร์ชื่อดัง, AFEW สนีกเกอร์สโตว์จากเมืองดุสเซลดอร์ฟที่ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 2008 และ 24KILATES ร้านสตรีทแวร์แถวหน้าของบาร์เซโลน่า มาในรองเท้ารุ่น R800 จาก Le Coq Sportif แบรนด์สปอร์ตแวร์ระดับตำนานจากกรุงปารีสที่รับประกันคุณภาพด้วยกระบวนการผลิตระดับ Made in France
การร่วมงาน 4 ฝ่ายในครั้งนี้คือสัญลักษณ์แห่งมิตรภาพที่เชื่อมโยงเข้าด้วยกันผ่านดนตรีและสตรีทแวร์ สะท้อนออกมาภายใต้แรงบันดาลใจจาก “นกกระเรียน” ซึ่งมีธรรมชาติในการบินย้ายถิ่นฐานจากเหนือไปใต้อันเปรียบได้กับการเดินทางของการร่วมงานครั้งนี้ที่เชื่อมโยงแต่ละเมืองแต่ละวัฒนธรรมเข้าดัวยกัน ตั้งแต่ดุสเซลดอร์ฟ, ปารีส, บาร์เซโลน่า และกรุงเทพมหานคร
สำหรับหัวใจสำคัญการออกแบบคือรูปทรงของ R800 ผลิตออกมาแบบลิมิเต็ดสุดๆ ทุกคู่ผลิตด้วยวัสดุระดับพรีเมียมที่ประกอบไปด้วยหนังกลับหลากหลายชนิดที่ให้สัมผัสแตกต่างกัน และหนังแท้เจาะรู (perforated grain leather) ออกแบบมาในสีเทา/ดำ ตัดกับดีเทลสีเขียวเทอร์คอยซ์, สีน้ำตาลทะเลทราย และสีแดง ตกแต่งด้วยตราประทับที่ส้นเท้า และ lace-keepers บนเชือก มาพร้อมป้ายโลโก้ยางที่ลิ้นรองเท้า ใส่ชื่อเมืองทั้ง 4 ลงไปบนพื้นรองเท้าสีขาว
นอกจากนี้ในโปรเจกต์ยังมาพร้อมกระเป๋า DJ Travel Bag จาก Pinqponq Brand ที่ผลิตสำหรับ friends and family โดยเฉพาะ และยังมาพร้อมเสื้อยืดที่ออกแบบด้วยลายกราฟิกทั้งหมดของการร่วมงานครั้งนี้อีกด้วย
ในเดือนพฤษภาคมที่ผ่าน RAFIK ร่วมกับ 24KILATES team เดินทางมาตะลุยทุกไลฟ์สไตล์ในกรุงเทพมหานครตั้งแต่สตรีทแวร์ไปจนถึงสตรีทฟู้ด พร้อมด้วยการเปิดสำนักถ่ายทอดวิชา DJ ในงานเวิร์คช็อปที่ Kreatah DJ School และไปปาร์ตี้กันต่อที่ Penta Club หนึ่งในคลับ Hip-Hop ที่เจ๋งที่สุดในกรุงเทพฯ ทั้งหมดถูกบันทึกออกมาเป็น Shot Film เพื่อถ่ายทอดไลฟสไตล์และสีสันในการเดินทางครั้งนี้สู่สายตาของคนทั้งโลก
‘The Crane Network’ จะออกวางจำหน่ายในวันที่ 6 กรกฎาคมนี้ เฉพาะที่ร้าน AFEW ดุสเซลดอร์ฟ , 24KILATES บาร์เซโลน่า และ 24KILATES กรุงเทพฯ
